Agile Modeling (AM) is a chaordic, practices-based methodology for effective modeling. AM is used to enhance full-fledged development processes such as eXtreme Programming (XP), SCRUM, DSDM, the Rational Unified Process (RUP), and the Enterprise Unified Process (EUP).

Overview of "A Conversation about Agile Modeling (AM)":
We're not firemen, policemen, rescue workers, or grief counselors. We can't directly help those affected by the September 11th tragedy. We are consultants, teachers and mentors in the technology area. During normal times, we teach a wide range of courses from programming to design to operating systems. But these are not normal times. Corporate training has been cut back drastically. Employees who need to learn are being told to buy a book. But you can't learn everything from a book. You need someone to answer questions or explain a topic slightly differently.
In return for a donation to the September 11th Fund of the United Way, you can attend an hour long on-line question/answer seminar entitled "A Conversation about Agile Modeling (AM)". Attendance at the two seminars will be limited so that you have an opportunity to ask your questions.
Suggested topics of discussion:
-
How would I apply AM in my current situation?
-
How does AM fit with XP?
-
How does AM fit with the Unified Process?
-
How do you apply the UML in an agile manner?
-
As always, feel free to ask whatever is on your mind...
